Jiufen, overlooking the ocean, was once a gold mine and major coal production area in Taiwan. The gold is now gone, but this quaint old village continues to offer enchanting scenery and fascinating glimpses into the lifestyles of the past, and serves as an inspirational model for Hayao Miyazaki's film ‘Spirited Away.’

With plenty of historical, humanities and natural heritage, the Gold Museum is the first ecology museum in Taiwan. It lays special emphasis on heritage preservation, sustainable development; old buildings reuse as well as localized operations aimed at promoting regional development.

Longshan Temple is a famous old temple in Taiwan. A visit to Longshan Temple gives delegates the opportunity to experience local people�s piety toward gods in traditional way and to appreciate the architecture and culture of the 270-year-old temple.
XiaoLongBao, the steamy thin-skinned dumplings with ground pork stuffing. Delegates will have a chance to try making these special dumplings in Dian Shui Lou, one of the restaurants that are most-famous for XiaoLongBao.
Oolong tea from Taiwan is known for its wonderful taste. In Taiwan, drinking oolong tea is a social affair that solidifies relationships. In this tour, delegates can learn about Taiwanese tea and try out different types of tea.

Yingge is a pottery town with several hundred pottery plants and equal number of pottery shops and is also the origin of the local ceramics industry. Today, the chimney of an old coal-fired kiln serves as its main landmark. There are over 100 stores on the old street, and each shop has its own characteristics with exquisite pottery works.

Yehliu Geopark, located in the northeast corner of Taiwan, offers stunning sea-erosion landscape. Over the years, the rocks were carved by wave-cutting, weathering and crustal movement, then formed into shapes resembling figures. The most famous one is the Queen�s Head, among others such as the Fairy�s Shoe, the Mushroom Rocks, the Tofu Rocks, and the Elephant Rocks.

Founded in 1999, the Juming Museum collects and presents Juming�s artworks. Ju Ming is globally famous for his sculptures and other artistic works. The entire museum is built on the side of a hill. Delegates can embrace the energy of nature while admiring the collections of outdoor sculptures, and also with the Taichi experience.

The National Center for Traditional Arts (the NCFTA) was established in January 2002 with the aims to protect and promote traditional arts, and to make traditional Taiwanese arts relevant to contemporary life styles and become recognized internationally. It is located by the riverbank of the beautiful Dongshan River in Yilan. In addition to organize displays and performances of culture and art, the center also provides a stage where performing artists can show off their creative works. Delegates can stroll casually among artistic creations, listen to elegant music, and enjoy exciting opera performances, and even participate in the process of artistic creation themselves.

Puli is at the center of Taiwan. With an elevation between 380~700 meters, Puli is a basin surrounded by rising & falling mountains, hills and farmland. The most famous tourist spots include the Puli Brewery Factory, Guangxing (Guangshing) paper Manufactory, and Chung Tai Chan Monastery; its special products (fine food) are wild rice stems, passion fruit, red sugar canes, rice noodles, and Shaoxing wine.

The Sun Moon Lake, with an elevation of 748 meters above sea level, is the only natural big lake in Taiwan. The southern part of Lalu Island is shaped like a new moon, and the northern part is shaped like a sun; hence the name Sun Moon Lake.

Lugang street is made up of the curved, red tiled lanes of today's Putou, Yaolin, and Dayou streets. Both sides of the streets are lined with newly renovated old style shop buildings that feature intensely interesting internal room layouts and old style exteriors. Here you can feel some of the atmosphere of old Lugang.

The centerpiece of the Hengchun Peninsula is Kenting National Park, Taiwan's only tropical national park. Established in 1982, Kenting National Park covers a total area of 33,268 hectares of land and maritime environments. This is Taiwan's most densely populated national park, and it includes large stretches of agricultural land's providing visitors with a view of typical Taiwanese rural life. In addition, the national park includes mountains, forests, pasture, lakes, sand dunes, beaches, and coral reefs imply everything you could desire when you want to get up front and personal with Mother Nature.

Chengqing Lake is located in Kaohsiung City's Niaosong District. It is the largest lake in the Kaohsiung area, developed originally as a reservoir to meet the need for water for industrial use. Later on the lake was improved through environmental landscaping, until today it offers the beauty of a forested park. It was opened to the public as a tourist destination in 1960.

Alishan has one of the three mountain rails in the world and is very famous for the sunrise view and the cloud ocean. The clouds are so dense and thick that the mountaintops appear like islands on the cloud ocean. The best time to watch the cloud season is autumn and visitors can go to Ziyun Temple, Alishan Hotel, Alishan Rail Station, Zaoping Park and the first parking lot.

Kenting National Park is the only tropical national park in Taiwan and it includes mountains, forests, pasture, lakes, sand dunes, beaches, and coral reefs imply everything you could desire when you want to get up front and personal with Mother Nature. Stops will be made at Oluanpi light house, Maopitou coastal scenic area and Kenting forest recreation area. Continuously we will drive to Taitung via Southern Link Highway.

The East Coast National Scenic Area, known as "Taiwan's last unspoiled land", stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast of the island. Weathering, erosion, and accumulation have produced a wide range of landforms here. Our tour will stop at Siaoyeliou, Sansientai, Stone Steps, Caves of the Eight Immortals.

Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful narrow raving created by the Liwu river which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock rewinding its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders.
